If you want to change author slug in provider public profile url then you can change it from Theme Options -> Provider Settings.

If you want to change providers category slug in provider category page url then you can do it from Theme Options -> General Settings -> Provider Category Settings.

Claim Business

How claim business works

If admin adds business profile or provider profile and later some day the real owner of that profile finds his profile on your site so he can claim for this. It means he would like to have access to his profile and control over that. In order to do that he will fill up the form which gets open up when click on ‘Claim Business’ button on profile page then admin will receives the claim business requests which he can see in Service Finder -> Claim Business section. Now in the theme options we have given two options to approve this 1. Free 2. Paid.

If admin verify the ownership then he can approve the claim request received from that user and upon approval an email will be sent to that user with that profile login credentials so it means admin has hand hover that profile access to his owner.

If paid option is on then an email will be sent to that user upon approval with a link to pay. It will open up a page with all same packages as displays on sign up form, so user need to pay in order to have access of that profile.

Admin need to enable “claim business” option by going into each provider profile as admin from service finder -> providers table: “manage profile button in last column”, then he will see enable claim business button.

Google Map

Google Maps error: Oops! Something went wrong.

If you see “Oops! Something went wrong” error message it means google map and its web service is not working on your server. You need to generate Google Map browser api key for this.

In order to run Google Map admin needs to generate Google Map Browser API key from his Google console account. You can check documentation here regarding Google Map Browser Key generation.

Also please make sure that you enable following web services in your Google Console account in order to run Google Map and its web services successfully :

  1. Google Maps Javascript API (This is required to run google map)
  2. Google Maps Geocoding API (This is required to fetch latitude and longitude of address so marker can be places in google map at correct location)
  3. Google Places API web service (This is required to run Google auto suggestion script in address field and city field of provider signup form, admin doesn’t need to enter cities manually, as soon as user starts typing the cities will be loaded by google as suggestion according to country selected.)

How to run google map

How to setup default location for Google Map

If you are looking to set default country or city to load on Google Map then you can set that in Theme Options -> General Settings -> Map Settings.

How to setup zoom level for Google Map

If you want to set default zoom level for Google Map then you can do that via Theme Options -> General Settings -> Map Settings.

If Google Map showing location in blue sea area or wrong location

If your Google map showing wrong location or blue sea area then it means Google Map Geo coding web service is not working properly and not fetching latitude and longitude of address. Google map provides daily free quota of this service and if its over then Google Map Geocoding web service will stop working and map will start showing wrong location. So in order to prevent this error you should generate server key in your Google console account. The process to generate server key is similar to Browser key but only difference is that you need to enter IP address of your server while generating key instead of HTTP web site url.

You need to enter these keys in their respective fields in Theme Options -> General Settings -> Map Settings.

Job Application

How provider can apply for job

Provider can apply for job if he has “Job Apply” capability enabled under his package.

Provider is unable to apply for job

If provider is unable to apply for job then there may be two reasons behind that.

  1. “Job Apply” capability is not enabled under membership package for provider.
  2. “Available connects” is 0. Provider has to buy more connects in order to apply for job. Admin can define job connects plan from Theme Options -> Provider Settings -> Job Apply Limits Plan. Provider can also define default free connects with membership package from Theme Options -> Provider Settings -> Job Application Settings.

Admin wants to approve newly registered providers

If admin want to approve newly registered providers account manually then he can turn on Account Moderation option from Theme Options -> Accounts -> Account Moderation.

How provider can select multiple categories

Multiple categories selection is available as capability under Packages, so provider registered under that package will be able to choose multiple categories after signup from his profile settings under categories section.

How to add providers as admin

Admin can add providers from wp dasbhboard via Users ->add new section.

How to manage provider profile as admin

Admin can manage full provider profile via Service Finder -> Providers table.

What does “booking amount charged based on service” means

It means that if provider wants to collect booking amount according to services amount so he can turn it on, if he turns it on then services added by the provider via Services section will be displayed in the booking form first step so customer can choose desire services and booking amount will be calculated on the basis of services selected.

You can display categories of your choice on home page via Theme Options -> General Settings -> Provider Category Settings.

How to set search results page style

There are two styles available for search results page in Theme Options -> General Settings -> Search Settings.

  1. Style 1

If in your admin sample theme options showing or duplicate theme options showing then you should deactivate and delete redux framework plugin and install it again from the admin notification you will see in your dashboard.

If theme options not working or showing blank page then you should check whether “Multibyte php string” is enable in your server configuration or not. Please turn it on if not enabled.

How to setup home page similar to sfdemo

You need to select Style 2 from Theme Options -> General Settings -> Theme Layout for new look or if you want to keep older look then select Style 2.

 

You need to make Home 5 as your front page if you want your home page similar to http://aonetheme.com/sfdemo/

You will find Home 5 in pages section if you have imported demo content via demo.xml while setting up theme.

Theme Translation

How to translate theme

We have included .pot file in language folder of theme, this file contains all English strings. This is the main source file which will be used to do translations.

After translation two files will be generated:

  1. .po
  2. .mo

These files will be saved in the same language folder of theme.

Theme Update

If theme update fails from admin

It you are getting problem in updating theme from admin and receiving this error “Are you sure you want to do this?”. Then you can upload theme via FTP and activate it from admin.

  1. unzip the service-finder.zip folder and Upload the files to /wp-content/themes/ folder on your server.
  2. Login to your WordPress admin area to change the theme.
