Setup App SDK Credentials

Creating an App SDK is required for the Join via Browser / Web SDK feature to work properly in the Service Finder Theme.

Generating App SDK Credentials

  • Go to the Zoom Marketplace and click on Build App.

  • Alternatively, you can directly open the app creation page using the link below:
    https://marketplace.zoom.us/develop/create

    Click on Create to continue.

  • 1. Basic Information
    On the next screen, you will be prompted to select the app management type. Choose Admin-managed and click Save.

    Additionally, make sure to add the following in the Basic Information section:

    • OAuth Redirect URL
    • OAuth Allow Lists

  • 2. Enable Meeting SDK
    Click on Continue repeatedly until you reach the Embed Feature page.

  • 3. Scopes
    On the Scopes page, click on Add Scopes.

  • 4. Required Scope
    Add the following scope and click Done.

    • User
      • View user's ZAK token
      • user:read:zak:admin

Adding SDK Credentials to Service Finder Theme

  • Go to your WordPress Admin Dashboard and navigate to:
    Zoom Events → Settings → Connect tab.

  • Add the Build App / General App credentials:
    • Build App Client ID
    • Build App Client Secret

  • Save the settings once the credentials are added.
  • To test the Join via Browser feature, create a new meeting and verify that joining via browser works correctly.

Once App SDK credentials are configured successfully, users will be able to join Zoom meetings directly from the browser without installing the Zoom application.
