Giftcards

The SpaCLub WordPress Theme includes a powerful Giftcard Management system that allows administrators to create, manage, and track gift cards. Gift cards can be purchased or issued to customers and redeemed during appointment bookings on the frontend.

1. Access Giftcards

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to SpaClub > Appointment.
  3. Click on the Giftcards menu.
  4. You will see a list of all created gift cards.

This section displays all gift cards along with their balance, usage details, and current status.

2. Giftcard Listing

The giftcard list shows the following information:

  • Title – Gift card title or name.
  • Code – Unique gift card voucher code.
  • Balance – Original gift card value.
  • Spent – Amount already redeemed.
  • Leftover – Remaining available balance.
  • Action – Options to edit or manage the gift card.

3. Add New Giftcard

To create a new gift card, click the Add Giftcard button located at the top-right corner.

4. Giftcard Fields

The following fields are available when creating or editing a gift card:

  • Image – Upload a gift card image.
  • Title – Name or label of the gift card.
  • From Name – Sender name.
  • From Email – Sender email address.
  • Recipient Name – Receiver’s name.
  • Recipient Email – Receiver’s email address.
  • Voucher Value – Total gift card amount.
  • Date of Expiry – Gift card expiration date.
  • Personal Message – Optional message for the recipient.
  • Code – Auto-generated voucher number.
  • PIN – Auto-generated security PIN.

Gift card codes and PINs are generated automatically to ensure secure redemption.

5. Using Giftcards on Frontend Appointment Form

Customers can redeem gift cards directly while booking an appointment from the frontend.

  1. Select a service and proceed to the Customer Information step.
  2. Enable the Have Gift Card option.
  3. Two fields will appear:
    • Voucher Number
    • Voucher PIN
  4. Enter the gift card code and PIN.
  5. Click the Apply button.

Once the gift card is applied:

  • The gift card amount is deducted automatically from the total.
  • The updated total amount is shown instantly in the booking summary.
  • If the gift card balance is less than the booking amount, the remaining balance can be paid normally.
  • The used amount is deducted from the gift card balance.

6. Saving Giftcards

  • After entering all required details, click Save Changes.
  • Click Close to return to the giftcard list.

7. Important Notes

  • Expired gift cards cannot be redeemed.
  • Incorrect voucher code or PIN will show an error message.
  • Gift cards can be used multiple times until the balance reaches zero.

Tip: Use gift cards for promotions, special occasions, and customer retention campaigns.
