Google Calendar

The SpaClub WordPress Theme includes built-in Google Calendar Integration that allows you to automatically synchronize appointments with your Google Calendar. This ensures administrators and staff never miss a scheduled booking.

1. Access Google Calendar Integration

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to SpaClub > Appointment.
  3. Click on the Google Calendar menu.
  4. You will see the Google Calendar integration screen.

2. Configure Google Calendar Settings (Required)

Before connecting Google Calendar, you must configure your Google API credentials. These credentials allow SpaClub to securely communicate with your Google account.

  1. Go to SpaClub > Appointment > Appointment Settings.
  2. Open the Google Calendar tab.
  3. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret.
  4. Copy and use the provided Redirect URI while creating credentials in Google Console.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Without entering the Client ID and Client Secret, Google Calendar cannot be connected.

3. Google Calendar Integration

Once API credentials are saved, you can connect your Google account to enable appointment synchronization.

  • Synchronize Appointments – Automatically add appointments to Google Calendar.
  • Real-Time Updates – Appointment changes are synced instantly.
  • Centralized Scheduling – View all bookings in one calendar.

4. Connect Google Calendar

After saving Client ID and Client Secret, you can connect your Google account.

  1. Click on Connect Google Calendar.
  2. Sign in with your Google account.
  3. Allow the requested permissions.
  4. Connection will be completed successfully.

Once connected, all new appointments will be automatically added to your Google Calendar.

5. Managing Synced Appointments

  • Appointments are created with service name, date, and time.
  • Rescheduled appointments update automatically.
  • Cancelled appointments are removed or updated accordingly.

6. Important Notes

  • Client ID and Client Secret are mandatory for Google Calendar integration.
  • Do not revoke Google permissions after connecting.
  • Ensure WordPress time zone matches your Google Calendar time zone.

Tip: Enable Google Calendar notifications to receive automatic reminders for upcoming appointments.
